Hello, I am a 45 year old male, I do not have diabetes or any other known health issue. About six years ago I lost 65 Lbs in ten months on The Zone diet. The results convinced me that although the program wasn't easy, it was effective.
Fast forward, to the past few years where events in my life distracted me and I stopped caring about my weight. I started enjoying donuts and juicy bacon cheeseburgers on a daily basis and guess what? I gained a lot of weight!
Finally in December I decided to do something about it, and ran across superzone, and then Medwell foods. I started in december, but because I went on two extended road trips where I was not consistent, I consider my starting point January 1.
I love Medwell for its simplicity, but I am on the edge of giving it up, because after initially losing about 6 Lbs, I am now hovering around the same weight (205 Lbs - my goal is 170 Lbs).
I am being very true to the diet as I understand it, but perhaps I am missing something. I am hoping someone here can provide answers, otherwise I will have to give up the medwell convenience for the old Zone effectiveness.
Help!
